Bayern Munich are now favourites to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz.
Chelsea were considered the frontrunners to sign the 21-year-old, who has starred in the Bundesliga this season.
However,The Telegraph says Bayern are working hard on keeping Havertz in Germany and are now discussing a deal worth more than £75m.
The Bavarians are determined to sign Havertz and their desire could topple Chelsea, who have already agreed a £53m deal for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
The move for Havertz hasn't stopped Bayern's interest in Manchester City winger Leroy Sane.
Sane remains a transfer priority for Bayern, and the club will try and seal a huge double coup this summer.
