Bayern Munich star Jerome Boateng has spoken about the difficulty his side anticipates in facing Chelsea.
The German giants will have to do battle with the Premier League juggernaut in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League in February and March.
But Boateng is confident that his side has what it takes to progress to the quarter finals.
He told Bavarian Football Works: "Chelsea is an interesting draw, a difficult opponent.
"You can say that we are the favourites.
"The exit against Liverpool last season is a big motivation for us.
"And I'm not used to FC Bayern exiting so early, but rather at least reaching the semifinals."
