Bayern Munich have decided against taking up the permanent option for on-loan Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez.
Kicker says Bayern Munich have decided not to make James' loan move from Real Madrid permanent in the summer.
After the Klassiker defeat against Borussia Dortmund last weekend, Bayern president Uli Hoeness stated that the Bundesliga giants would be seeking a generational change in the summer and with James' stock at the club at its lowest ebb since his move from the Bernabéu in 2017 the Colombia international is expected to be one of the players moved on.
Bayern have set aside €200m for a shake-up of the playing squad, making James' purchase option of €42m a stumbling block to a permanent deal.
