Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel was stunned by defeat to Mainz yesterday.

Mainz outclassed the crisis club 3-1 against their old coach.

Former Chelsea manager Tuchel later said: "We have no energy.

"I do not know why. It's so difficult. The team looks like they have already played 70 games this season."

"We are not awake, we are exhausted."

The defeat comes just days after Bayern's Champions League elimination by Manchester City.
