Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick has signed a contract extension to 2023.

Flick was appointed as interim boss in November 2019 following the departure of Niko Kovac.

After an encouraging run of results, Flick was given the top job until the end of the season.

Flick has won 18 of his 21 games in charge as the German giants have risen from fourth to top the table.

The former midfielder made 104 league appearances for Bayern Munich as a player before retiring due to injury in 1993.
