Bayern Munich coach Flick: I'll do everything to keep Alaba, Thiago here

Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick insists it's no certainty that David Alaba and Thiago Alcantara will leave this summer.

Alaba is being linked with Chelsea and Manchester City, while Thiago is in talks with Liverpool.

But Flick, after lifting the German Cup following victory over Bayer Leverkusen in yesterday's final, said: "I will do everything I can to ensure that we can keep two such high-quality players.

“David is a very important player for us. A centre-piece. On the pitch he is a world class player, besides the pitch always positive, motivates the teammates. I am confident that he will stay with us. He has matured into an exceptional player here.

For Thiago, the 55-year-old conceded that it was "a little more difficult" . But even in this case he sees “things positively" and “always has hope".
