Bayern Munich chief Rummenigge won't shut down Sane talk

Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insists a move for Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane is still alive.

Despite talk of Sane leaning towards re-signing a new deal with City, nothing has yet been settled.

And Rummenigge has left the door open to bringing the winger back to the Bundesliga.

"We operate in the market. We still need a winger," he said, before being asked about Sane.

"Surprise, surprise...," was Rummenigge's reply.

"We have a good team and we will also have a good squad, the transfer market is not over yet. When the Bundesliga starts, I am convinced that our team will be very focused and motivated to go to work."
