Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insists they're yet to make an offer for Manchester City midfielder Leroy Sane.
Despite all the speculation, Rummenigge says a formal bid is yet to be lodged.
He explained: "We have not made an offer for Leroy Sané. It's not that far yet.
"First the player has to decide whether he can imagine coming to Bayern. If that's the case, then we'll be negotiating with Manchester City.
"The player is the most important factor. Apparently, Leroy has not yet decided, (sports director) Hasan Salihamidzic leads the talks here.
"I think the player's exciting. Both of the footballing quality and as a type."
Interestingly, it's also been revealed Sane is in the process of changing management, with his mother Regina having handled things up to now.
