Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says they must lay on a charm offensive to convince Leroy Sane about a move.

Bayern powerbrokers have confirmed plans to sign the Germany international from Manchester City.

And Rummenigge said, "I cannot answer that seriously today. But one must not forget that he has a two-year contract and Manchester City is not a club that needs to sell players because of need.

"It will be difficult.

"It is crucial the player must be convinced he can have fun and play football at Bayern."
