Juventus have chosen to sign outright on-loan Bayern Munich midfielder Douglas Costa.

Juve's decision was was confirmed during Friday night's shareholder's meeting by chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

Douglas Costa made the move on loan with option to buy that could be activated by June 30, 2018.

However, the Press release on the transfer only specified that Juve had to pay €6m and the option to buy permanently was for another €40m, to be paid over two financial years.
