Bayern Munich chief exec Oliver Kahn has criticised Benjamin Pavard for talking up a January departure before the World Cup.
With the likes of Inter Milan, Chelsea and Manchester United following developments, Pavard openly declared this month a willingness to explore his options.
"I have no objection to tackling a new project. Maybe it's now time," the France international stated.
In response, Kahn told Sky Deutschland: "With us, no one can initiate his departure with statements, especially not in public. We don't do that.
"Pavard," continued Kahn, "is also a bit dependent on moods. I think he knows what he has in Bayern. We also know what we have in him.
"We can classify and manage the emotions of players who go up and down."
