Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm is angry over the riches of the Premier League.

Lahm is particularly upset over the new wealth of clubs like Leicester City and Stoke City, which have been active in the Bundesliga transfer market.

The fullback said: "Surely this is an important issue, because money in football is playing no small role.

"And when you see that the smaller teams in England get more money than FC Bayern it is crass.

"Nevertheless, we have here in the Bundesliga many advantages: We have top stadiums, a first-rate infrastructure, super fans, almost always sold-out games."
