Bayern Munich attacker James tells family: I want Real Madrid return

Bayern Munich attacker James Rodriguez wants to return to parent club Real Madrid.

In the second season of a two-year loan, James is eager to quit Bayern and return to Real - no matter who is coach next season.

"...if it's (Santiago) Solari, (Jose) Mourinho, (Antonio) Conte or whoever," James has confessed to family members, reports Okdiario.

The Colombian is currently in Madrid recovering from a knee strain and has made it known to Real confidants of his wish to return - a message which has been welcomed positively by management.

Bayern have the option to sign James permanently for €42m, but the player's wish is to quit Munich and return to Madrid in 2019.

Everything, however, will depend on Real making room for the midfielder with the futures of Isco, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema all in doubt.
