Bayer Leverkusen concerned waiting for final Chelsea Havertz payment

Bayer Leverkusen have concerns about the sanctions on Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

With Chelsea seized by the UK government, all financial transactions have been limited and are under review.

BILD says Bayer are worried about the final installment of Kai Havertz's transfer agreed in the summer of 2020.

Bayer and Chelsea had agreed three payments of €26.7m for the signing of the young German attacker. Chelsea have already paid two of them.

For the moment, the final payment is outstanding, with such financial operations currently frozen.
