Bayer Leverkusen chief Rudi Voller has reaffirmed their stand over Florian Wirtz.
The teenage attacker is being linked with Manchester United this week ahead of the January market.
But Voller told BILD: "Not only for his contract situation, but also for the trust we have built up with him and his family. We know he will be good hands here for several years.
"We want Florian to stay a few more years."
Wirtz, 18, has a deal with Bayer to 2026.
