Bayer Leverkusen sports chief Rudi Voeller admits Roma face competition to land defender Juan.

"Roma wants Juan," said the former Germany coach, "this is no mystery.

"And Juan wants Roma. Although there are also other offers. Sevilla have made contact and want an answer from him today.

"The player has told them he is flattered by their interest, but wants to consider other proposals."

Voeller added: "Juan will leave for his buyout clause - which is £5.25 million.

"Juan has no equal in Germany, it's time for him to move on."
