Gabriel Batistuta is surprised to see Eusebio di Francesco in charge of AS Roma.

The pair won the Scudetto together with Roma.

Batistuta said, “I must admit, I never expected him to become a Coach. At the same time, it's very pleasing to see one of my old teammates go on to have such success. He did really well at Sassuolo and I hope he can continue doing well at Roma.

“I am studying to be a Coach myself. I want to learn and enrich my knowledge of the sport, but at the moment I am simply a student. We'll see what happens in the future."
