Bastian Schweinsteiger scores on Chicago Fire debut

Former Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is already off the mark for Chicago Fire.

The midfielder headed Chicago Fire into the lead in 17th minute at their home ground, Toyota Park, after getting on the end of David Accam's delivery.

Before making his move to the MLS and ending his nightmare at Old Trafford, Schweinsteiger only made four appearances under the Special One.

His final appearance for United came as a substitute against St Etienne in the Europa League after he replaced Michael Carrick.

Chicago Fire drew 2-2 with Montreal Impact.
