The agreement only applies to the games in which the five La Liga teams face each other and no other teams from the Spanish top division have entered the arrangement.
Instead, the deal is exclusive to the five clubs, who hail from the Basque Country, an autonomous community in northern Spain. The teams said in a joint statement that the initiative has been introduced 'with the aim of promoting a good atmosphere among the clubs' and 'to encourage attendance' at derby games.
