Barry Douglas has posted a farewell message to Leeds United.

Douglas spent this past season on loan at Blackburn Rovers after missing out on the chance to feature for the Whites in the Premier League.

It means the Scottish player's three year spell at Elland Road is now officially over and while it may not have ended how he had hoped, the ex-Wolves player sent a classy departing message to supporters.

He wrote; "Now my Leeds exit has been made official just want to thank all the fans for the kind messages, @LUFC is a very special club and I wish everyone associated with the club nothing but continued success I will be watching as a fan from now on and enjoying the journey #mot"
