Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp admits Milan Baros fluffed his lines in Saturday's defeat at Middlesbrough.
Baros is on-loan at Pompey from Lyon and Redknapp said: "I wanted to get a bit of a run into him (Baros) because (Jermain) Defoe can't play in the cup final.
"I thought, 'Let's have a go at them today, let's see what we can do'.
"But in all honesty, the system that has worked for us is 4-5-1. We stick two up there and it doesn't seem to work for us, unless Kanu plays, who can hold the ball. The ball sticks with him."
