Fiorentina chief Joe Barone is urging fans to fill the Stadio Franchi tomorrow night to welcome Franck Ribery.
The 36 year-old former Bayern Munich midfielder is in Florence today to sign with the Viola.
And Barone beamed: "Today is really a beautiful day, it was a long night though.
"We are very happy for the arrival of Ribery and the president will greet him on Friday when he arrives in the city.
"Tomorrow evening we hope to fill the whole stadium and have a big party for all of Florence and Fiorentna. Another blow? I say nothing, thanks to all."
Technical chief Dario Dainelli also said, "As an opponent he has always shown both against me and against others his great qualities, both technical and of character. We are proud and happy to have brought him here."
