Barnsley signing Isaac Christie-Davies makes Liverpool tribute

Isaac Christie-Davies has paid tribute to Liverpool after coming off contract this summer.

The 22-year-old began his footballing career in the youth ranks at Chelsea before he switched to the Reds.

The midfielder spent time on loan at Cercle Brugge last season but was released by Liverpool at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

Christie-Davies has now spoken about his time at Liverpool as a move to Barnsley was confirmed.

"After two great years at @liverpoolfc it's time for me to move on to the next step in my career. I would like to say thank you to all at the club including team mates , all the staff on and off the pitch and supporters," he said on his personal Instagram account.

"It was a childhood dream to play for Liverpool so I'm honoured to have been able to do that. An extra thank you to the fans for the support , you are what makes the club what it is #ynwa."
