Barnsley is hoping to sign Bournemouth winger Connor Mahoney on loan.
The former Blackburn Rovers player has signed four-year deal with Bournemouth after leaving the 1995 Premier League winner last season after they were relegated.
The Tykes are not the only one which put their interest in Mahoney.
The Championship team has to compete with other teams in the same level of leagues, Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough and Sunderland.
They are confident with £ 200,000 offer for the former Accrington Stanley player, which has been accepted 12 months ago.
