Barnsley want to keep hold of on-loan Tottenham goalkeeper David Button.

Button has made five Championship appearances since joining the Tykes last month, but his loan is due to expire after Saturday's game against Cardiff City.

"Luke's definitely out so I'm hopeful we can sign David for longer," Barnsley boss Keith Hill told the Sheffield Star.

"As far as I know, they don't want to recall him. David is gaining valuable experience and game-time, so it would be great if could extend his deal."
