Barcelona's Messi blanks questions over Ronaldinho boos

Lionel Messi insists he didn't notice the fans reaction to his substitution for Ronaldinho during Barcelona's 2-0 defeat of Almeria last night.

Messi came on for the Brazilian, who suffered boos and whistles from the home crowd, and struck Barca's second goal in the victory.

"The fans have always treated me well," said Messi. "They behave very well towards me, Ronaldinho and all our teammates."

He went on: "I am happy to have played, scored a goal and won the match. We can't blame fatigue for the way we played because this is always going to happen."
