Barcelona winger Raphinha proud of Leeds time with Bielsa

Barcelona winger Raphinha says he's proud of his time with Leeds United.

The Brazilian international left Elland Road after spending two seasons in West Yorkshire in favour of a move to join the Catalan giants where his idol, Ronaldinho used to play.

"I was very happy wearing the Leeds shirt," Raphinha told UOL.

"I worked with (Marcelo) Bielsa, a very demanding guy who welcomed me with open arms. In fact, I enjoy working with demanding people.

"When people ask me if I imagined leaving Leeds for the biggest club in the world, which is Barcelona, and joining the Brazilian national team within a year, I answer that I not only imagined it, but also managed to achieve it."
