Barcelona haven't dropped their push for Cerezo Osaka prospect Jun Nishikawa.
Barca have just snapped up Kashima Antlers attacker Hiroki Abe, who will start the season with Barca B.
Mundo Deportivo says Nishikawa is also being lined up for a move by the Catalans, though they face an initial wait.
At 17, Nishikawa won't be able to move to Barca until he turns 18 in February.
However, Barca are determined to tie him down after being tipped off about the youngster's potential by Cerezo's Spanish coach Miguel Ángel Lotina.
