Barcelona are willing to include a player in their offer this week for Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho.

Diario Gol says Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu has discussed with coach Ernesto Valverde the prospect of including a senior player in their proposal.

Andre Gomes, Rafinha and Arda Turan have been mentioned as potential makeweights, though the only one which is expected to draw Liverpool's attention is Gomes. Valverde is prepared to lose all three this month.

Portugal international Gomes is a player similar in quality to Coutinho and his inclusion could enough this week to persuade Liverpool to sell.
