Barcelona will fight Vidal claim of bonuses owed

Barcelona will fight Arturo Vidal's claims of outstanding bonuses being owed.

Marca says the Chilean midfielder believes he's owed €2.4m by his current employers, but the Catalan club won't be paying him the money.

They don't think he played the required games for the bonus and they're counting on the support of LaLiga in the matter.

As it stands, Vidal will stay at Barcelona until the end of the season unless an acceptable offer is received in January.

There are reports that Inter are prepared to pay €12m to sign the player, but Barcelona value him much higher than that.

Vidal keeps saying that he'll discuss his future with Barcelona once he returns from his Christmas break, but the club have no intention of doing that.

They don't want to give in to his demands and his continuous complaints over game time - only in the summer will they consider selling him.
