Barcelona whiz Ansu Fati facing more knee surgery

Barcelona whiz Ansu Fati is facing more knee surgery.

Fati's chances of being fit to play in the Champions League last-16 tie against Paris Saint-Germain are minimal to none, as he has suffered a setback in his recovery from a serious knee injury.

The youngster originally underwent surgery on his meniscus after suffering an injury during Barcelona's match with Real Betis on November 9, however his knee has not progressed how the player and club would have liked.

TV3 have revealed that Ansu had to be operated on again in the last few weeks. Barcelona did not report this at the player's request.

Yet, things could get worse for the 18-year-old before they get better, as a third operation has not been ruled out if he knee does not show signs of improvement.
