Barcelona are waiting to pounce for free agent Angel di Maria.

Sport says the winger's contract expires with Paris Saint-Germain on June 30 and he won't remain in France.

Juventus have been pushing for his signing but Di Maria rejected their first offer, which was a two-year deal worth €4.5 million net.

Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio reports Juve have now made a new proposal.

The Serie A club's offer is now one year plus an option second season with a slight increase in terms of pay. Di Maria wants a one year deal to have control of his own future in the summer of 2023.

With Barca waiting, Juve are now pushing for a definitive answer from the Argentina international before the end of the weekend.
