Barcelona vice-president Jordi Mestre has stunned fans by declaring they should NOT seek to buy back Neymar.
The PSG star has been linked with a return to Barca, along with eternal rivals Real Madrid, for the summer market. But given his acrimonious departure, Mestre believes they should not bring the Brazilian back.
He told Sport: "Footballistically speaking, he's a great craque, one of the best in the world.
"But, personally, I think that, as a matter of principle, Barça should not let him come back. Besides, I think it's very, very, very unlikely that Neymar wears our jersey again.
"First, for economic reasons and then because he belongs to PSG, whose president would do the impossible to retain him."
