Barcelona are prepared to Luis Suarez to leave for Atletico Madrid.

Marca says everything appeared to have been in place on Suarez's end prior to Tuesday. There was an agreement that would see him give up part of the year of his contract remaining, with Barcelona to look after the rest.

But president Josep Maria Bartomeu threw cold water on that as he refused to let the No.9 leave for Atletico on a free transfer, leaving Suarez seething as he was under the impression that his contract at the Camp Nou had already been ended.

On Tuesday evening, though, Barcelona and the player's lawyers met and appear to have found a resolution.

Now, Suarez could even become an Atletico Madrid player on Wednesday in an agreement that would see variables included in the deal that see Barcelona benefit in some way from the move.
