Barcelona turn to Mendes as they seek breakthrough for Inter Milan striker Lautaro

Barcelona remain in the hunt for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.

Corriere dello Sport says Barcelona have asked super agent Jorge Mendes to try and help the club raise funds by selling players.

Meanwhile, one player that could head to Inter in order to bring the price down is Junior Firpo, with the left-back not in Ronald Koeman's plans.

Lautaro wants to join Barcelona and his representatives are doing their best to make it happen, however they will also meet Inter in the coming days to discuss a possible contract renewal.

To this point, the Blaugrana have been unable to reach an agreement with Inter, who were pointing to the Argentine's 111 million euro release clause before it expired and have since stuck to a figure close to this.
