Barcelona are tracking Celta Vigo left-back Javi Galan.

AS says Barca coach Xavi is a fan of Galan and sees him as ideal cover for veteran Jordi Alba.

Galan, 27, has a contract with Celta to 2026, meaning Barca must cough up a fee to convince his club to sell.

Benfica's former Barca B star Alejandro Grimaldo and the Catalan left-back of Real Betis, Álex Moreno, are also being considered.

However, Galan is now the favoured option for Xavi and his coaching staff.
