Barcelona are expected to announce a new contract with Ansu Fati.
Marca reports Fati has signed a new deal that ties him to the club until 2027.
The teenage forward, Barcelona's new No.10 in the post-Lionel Messi era, has made a successful return from a serious injury and at the weekend showed he is back. Today, he has also shown he is here to stay.
Ansu Fati's previous deal was due to expire at the end of the season, although the club did have an option to extend that by two years. However, much like in Pedri's case, the club were keen to get the player to commit to a new, longer-term deal with improved terms to reflect his new-found importance to the first team.
That was especially important as the two-year option had been questioned and disputed in some quarters.
