Barcelona target Frenkie de Jong won't rule out exit

Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong has left the door open to moving to Barcelona this month.

Barcelona want the Dutch midfielder, who played in his team's win over Standard Liege which saw them reach the Champions League play-offs.

Barca are hoping Ajax will negotiate, but if they reach the Champions League proper they will want to keep De Jong.

"In principle I'm staying but in football you never know.

"Maybe a club in the coming days will offer Ajax a big sum of money and they will accept the proposal. You can't guess that, but there's a very high chance I'll stay," said De Jong.
