Barcelona are eyeing Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany end of season deal.

The Sun says Barca are considering whether to offer Kompany a contract when his current deal with Manchester City comes to an end.

The City captain, who moved to the Etihad over 10 years ago, will become a free agent next summer if City do not offer him fresh terms.

And Barca are interested in bringing him to Spain as they look to add experience to their defensive ranks.

Kompany will be free to negotiate with clubs outside of England when the January transfer window opens, although there have already been initial discussions with City regarding a new deal.
