New Barcelona signing Sergio Aguero have handed the club an injury blow.

Barca have announced Aguero has received a calf injury, which he suffered in training on Sunday morning.

Scans show the former Manchester City striker faces at least three months on the sidelines. Barca coach Ronald Koeman won't see Aguero until October.

Aguero missed last night's Joan Gamper Trophy victory against Juventus - including the pre-match presentation.

While fellow injured teammates Ansu Fati and Clement Lenglet were seen, Aguero was notably absent.
