Barcelona striker Luis Suarez admits he loved playing in front of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.

Suarez admits Gerrard's long passing was ideal for his game.

He told the Liverpool Echo: "What stood out the most about Gerrard was his long-range passing.

"The passes he made were very easy for the forward players. The understanding on the pitch, performing one-two's, was another good ability he had.

"We always had a very good understanding with Gerrard, in the movements he had.

"I was very lucky to play with him, and I really enjoyed the moments we had together."
