Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is targeting the Qatar World Cup.
Suarez says he wants to make the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with Uruguay, when he will be nearly 36 given the tournament is taking place in the second half of the year.
"The motivation keeps growing," he said in an interview with AUF TV. "You get older and things get more difficult to be able to stay in the squad. Right now I am at Barcelona but between now and the qualifiers you never know what the future holds.
"I have to try and be at 150 percent, to perform at my best to have the chance to be at the next World Cup, because that is my objective."
Suarez was sincere when he added: "It's difficult to enjoy (football). Players don't enjoy the day to day too much, don't think about the records and the achievements...
"As time passes you realise or you have people that remind you... but you don't enjoy it (at the time), you see it later in the future."
