Barcelona striker Memphis Depay is pushing to start for Holland against Qatar in the World Cup.

The Dutchman came on in the 62nd minute to replace Vincent Janssen in the first match against Senegal, which ended in a 2-0 win for the Netherlands.

In the second match, in the 1-1 draw against Ecuador last Friday, he played more minutes when he came on after the break in the 46th minute.

"Hopefully I'll start against Qatar," said Depay.

"Play all 90 minutes? We would have to see how I do during the game, but yes, I think I'm capable of playing all 90 minutes."
