Barcelona striker Kevin-Prince Boateng saw his home burgled during their win over Real Valladolid.
His home, in the northern part of the Sarria district, was targeted by thieves who took jewellery and money worth between 300,000 and 400,000 euros.
The local police, Mossos, will now lead a full investigation.
It is not the first such case this season either, given that Jordi Alba's home was targeted by criminals as he faced Inter in Milan.
