Barcelona striker Alcacer defends nicking goal ahead of Paulinho

Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer insists he deserved his goal in the 2-2 draw with Celta Vigo.

Alcacer scored a goal that looked like it was heading into the net via Paulinho regardless although the Spaniard stated that he had doubts about that.

Sergi Roberto's 71st minute red card had the Blaugrana scrambling, and ultimately they conceded a late equaliser courtesy of Iago Aspas, although replays showed there was a hint of handball in the scoring motion.

"I preferred to put the ball in myself as I wasn't sure it would be a goal," Alcacer explained in his post-match interview.

"I thought Paulinho was going to put the ball in. Then he played it centrally."
