Barcelona striker Luis Suarez admits he wants old club Liverpool back in Europe's premier club competition.

The Uruguayan has made no secret of his love for Liverpool since he left for Barca in 2014 and ahead of his side's Champions League clash with Arsenal on Tuesday, he has spoken of his desire are seeing the Reds soon competing in the UEFA club showpiece.

"I will always watch Liverpool and look for their results, they will always be a very special club for me," he told the Daily Express.

"I would love to see them back in the Champions League.

"They have a new coach who is one of the most experienced in Europe, so I am sure they can be back there soon. It is where that special club belongs."
