Barcelona signing Antoine Griezmann admits he's yet to hear from Lionel Messi.

However, the former Atletico Madrid attacker says he has heard from Luis Suarez.

Griezmann said, "The first day was a bit difficult because they made two pipes on the ground!

"One from Ivan (Rakitic), but then I came back. I did not receive a message from Leo, but from Luis who welcomed me. The group has received me very well and I am happy to share the dressing room with them and hopefully I can help them the best possible."

He also said of his split from Atletico, "I did my best for Cholo (Diego Simeone), my former teammates and the club to get it right. It's a matter for them, I'm calm and the only thing that matters to me is to start playing with Barça, which is the most important thing for me."
