Barcelona have been rocked by a long-term injury suffered by Ousmane Dembele.

The €150m striker was forced off in the first-half of victory with Getafe due to injury.

Barca have since announced today that Dembele faces surgery on an injured thigh, which could keep him sidelined for four months.

The Catalans announced: "It has been determined that he suffered a rupture of the tendon of the femoral biceps of the left thigh. The player will undergo surgical treatment by Dr. Sakari Orava next week in Finland.

"The time of his absence is expected between three and a half and four months."
