Barcelona's players have accepted pay-cuts issued by the club.

Marca says the club's activities have been at a standstill for two weeks as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and, as such, Barcelona have suffered a dramatic loss of income.

That, coupled with tension within their own treasury department, has caused Barcelona to have to implement temporary pay cuts to their employees so as not to run in to financial difficulties, and, obviously, the members of its sports sections have also been affected.

The basketball, futsal and hockey sections have shown their agreement to the new economic situation brought on by the crisis and have wanted to display their support for the club in these difficult times

The football section, after negotiating with the club, has also accepted the financial situation.
