Barcelona are stepping up interest in Watford fullback Pervis Estupinan.
New Barca coach Ronald Koeman plans to keep hold of Jordi Alba for next season, though has approved the departure of Junior Firpo.
And in Firpo's place, Mundo Deportivo says Estupinan is under consideration.
The Ecuador international impressed Barca scouts last season while on-loan with Osasuna. He was offered to Barca last month for a price of €10m - but the feedback was lukewarm.
Now with Koeman installed, things have changed and fresh contact between the two clubs have been established. The Hornets also have upped their price, insisting Estupinan can now only leave for €15m.
